Our scrap metal process: from receipt to export

Receipt & inspection
Scrap arrives at our designated UK facility or partner yard from trusted suppliers. We immediately inspect for type, condition, and any obvious contaminants, verifying documentation and compliance with UK waste regulations.
Sorting & separation
Materials are meticulously sorted by metal type (e.g., HMS 1&2, copper wire, aluminium) using manual methods, magnets, and density/eddy current separation to effectively remove non-metallics and foreign attachments.
Grading & processing
Each batch is graded to meet ISRI international specifications, with processing including shearing, cutting, baling, or bundling to ensure dense packing and optimal material readiness for export.
